It used to belong to the customer's grandad. Covered in Kirkby, Leaf II in pine green. It’s a 100% recycled wool using yarns from the fashion industry. The back rest is square stitched and shallow buttoned in the front and back. I used the original spring cages, cleaned them up and recovered them to restore the comfort and then slipped stitched them all closed by hand. Made to measure Cocktail chair on a brand new frame. The customer wanted a ‘tweed’ style and chose these beautiful contrasting fabrics from Abraham Moon: Banbury in mustard and Herringbone in natural. They worked together beautifully. A beautiful rocking chair belonging to the customer's late father. We stripped the old dark varnish completely and rewaxed the chair. The springs were cleaned up, rust removed and the fabric cover replaced. Two new foam cushions were made and covered in Warwick Alpaka fabric. A bedroom chair re-upholstered in this beautifully bright Cornflower blue ‘Verde’ fabric by Linwood fabric, made from recycled cotton from the fashion industry. With some contrast piping in grey wool to really pick out those key features in this chair design. Grey Queen Anne Wingback chair with contemporary shallow buttoned (square stitched) detailing in the back rest. Uses Warwick Amatheon wool in Gunmetal grey. Booth seating for a restaurant. As part of a collaborative project I worked with a team to help deliver 7 small and 3 large booth seats for a restaurant with a tight deadline. Art Deco Velvet Cocktail chair. Linwood Gem Blue Onyx fabric with plush navy velvet contrast. Fluted back is fully pattern matched. Fitted with a traditional luxuriously comfy spring seat. Vintage 1970's swivel and rocking bamboo armchairs. The cushions have been designed and handmade to fit the beautiful curved shape of the chairs and show off the dramatic shape of the back rests. Linwood 'Kerplunk' velvet in emerald. Tartan pattern matched wingback chair with scroll arms, stud detailing and fixed seat. Covered with Warwick Bainbridge wool in jade. Ercol 312 settee. Sanded down, rewaxed and covered in Bute, Alchemy, Mojito wool. I love the fleck colour in this fabric and the vibrancy of the green. Cushions for this lovely slider rocking chair for a nursery. Covered in this lovely Clarke & Clarke ‘Polly’ fabric in Mineral by Studio G. It looks fantastic in the newly decorated nursery. Bespoke, made to measure curved cushion to fit 1970's bamboo swivel chairs. Cushions are fully removable with 4 zips at the base hidden from view. Set of 6 Ercol 365 Windsor Quaker dining chair pads. Upholstered in Warwick Amatheon wool in contrast Gunmetal and Lead grey. Classic Ercol 203 cushions which are 'mix and match' fabrics so the customer can choose which fabric to have on show depending on their mood simply by flipping the cushion over Shallow buttoned, square stitched detailing. This classic yet contemporary Ercol 'Gina' recliner and footstool was recovered in Linwood Lana wool in Teal and some fabric supplied by the customer. Lloyd Loom chair and laundry basket which had been in the customer's family for years and were full of memories. Frames primed and then sprayed white with water based chalk paint, final matt varnish chalk layer to ensure longevity and water proofing. Box cushion and lid covered in these beautiful Liberty London fabrics chosen by the customer. Original brass feet of the chair stripped of layers of paint build up and polished back to their former glory. Bespoke fitted shallow buttoned box cushion for a window seat. Made with Linwood Verde fabric in Saffron, a recycled cotton using waste from the fashion industry helping to save water and energy. Traditional spring seat built into cocktail chair Bespoke outside seating area box cushions. Made-to-measure design. Uses water repellent fabric, can withstand prolonged UV exposure and has long durability for outside use. Ercol seat pad in situ'. Included straps and popper to attach to the original chair frame Tradional springed seat being restored. I primarily use modern upholstery but where possible we will always keep the traditional elements. Restoration of a 1950's mid century frame with beeswax to revive the wooden frame and bring it back to life. Some fine wire wool and elbow grease was used on the metal to bring it back to it's shining glory. Victorian tub chair pictured under construction. Traditional coir used in the back rest. Hand slip-stitched with decorative nail detailing above the legs. Bespoke, made-to-measure cushions for gorgeous vintage wrought iron chairs. I even made a matching table cloth at the customer’s request. We used this beautiful Sanderson fabric which is part of their National Trust range. ‘Wild berries’ in mulberry and fern. Piped contrast scatter cushions in this beautiful bold fabric. Bespoke cushions required for a pair of Ikea Buskbo chairs. We used Warwick Solaire fabric in ‘beach’ as it is suitable for outdoor use and I also ensured they were nice and soft and fit perfectly to emphasis the incredible shape of the chairs.
